Emergency Service Dispatchers' Week April 8 - 15, 2009
In honour of the more than 1,000 emergency call-takers, dispatchers, and support
personnel in B.C. who are a calm voice for people in crisis and the eyes and ears of responders until
they arrive on scene, the Province proclaims April 8 to 15 as Emergency Service Dispatchers’
Week.
